ABOUT ME
YOU ARE MY FOCUS
You may be very good at handling problems. You make decisions, manage responsibilities, and figure things out. But some problems don't respond to competence. A relationship is struggling. Work has taken over too much of your life. You’re burned out, anxious, angry, or dissatisfied. Or maybe nothing is obviously wrong, but the life you've worked hard to build doesn't feel quite the way you thought it would. And I help you understand what's happening—and decide what to do about it.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
I took an unusual path to becoming a therapist. I earned an MBA and spent more than twenty years in the business world. I bring that experience, along with the perspectives that come from my life: marriage, parenting, illness, loss, and the realities of adult life. I try to offer the kind of therapy I would want myself: intelligent, candid, practical, and human.
MY STYLE
Therapy can help you understand your mind and your problems, and decide what to do about it. My style is active, thoughtful, and direct. We'll look for patterns, challenge assumptions, make connections, and work toward changes you can use outside the therapy room. That might mean changing how you think or behave, having a conversation you've been avoiding, making a difficult decision, or reconsidering something you've believed about yourself for years.
